Missing Link Running Club

The Missing Link Running Club is the accountability partner you need for the workouts that are hard to tackle solo. We meet at venues across the Twin Cities and design every session with options for both new and experienced runners.

Weekly schedule

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: Theodore Wirth Park for strength and mobility plus trail-focused intervals that build climbing, descending, and technical running skills.
  • Saturdays: Long run day. We rotate through parks around the metro, regroup at least once, and split into pace groups when helpful.

Arrive a few minutes early so we can get oriented, and bring water plus trail-friendly shoes. In fall and winter, a headlamp helps for evening sessions.

The run club is free to all and welcoming regardless of skill level, income, race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation.

Communication

Workout announcements go out through the Google Group, and the member portal is where profiles, the shared album, events, and announcements are heading.

Most day-to-day conversation still happens in WhatsApp for carpools, trail conditions, and race chatter.

How account creation works

  1. Create your account with your email address.
  2. Agree to the waiver during account creation.
  3. Complete your profile, then browse the directory, events, announcements, and shared album.

Only your profile photo and bio are shared in the member directory. Phone number and email stay private.
